I am Suci Nurhayati, born in Kebumen, Central Java, and raised in Bandung, West Java. My academic journey began at the Islamic University of Nusantara, where I completed my Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Mathematics Education. Driven by a passion for advancing my knowledge, I pursued a Master’s Degree in Mathematics Education at the Indonesia University of Education (UPI).
Before starting my career as a lecturer, I dedicated myself to teaching in junior high schools, senior high schools, and vocational schools. These experiences provided me with a strong foundation for understanding the dynamics of mathematics learning across different levels of education. They also strengthened my commitment to improving the quality of teaching, both in the classroom and through research.
Currently, I serve as a Lecturer in the Mathematics Education Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Universitas Terbuka. In addition to fulfilling the Tri Dharma of Higher Education: teaching, research, and community service, I actively engage in research, publications, and scholarly dissemination at national and international forums. My research interests include mathematics education, online learning, self-efficacy, computational thinking, and the development of innovative learning media.
For me, being a lecturer is more than just a profession, it is a calling to continuously share knowledge, build research collaborations, and inspire students to be well-prepared for the challenges of education in the digital era.
